Why We Stopped Using 7 Business Tools and Built One Instead

Running a small business shouldn't require switching between a CRM, project management tool, invoicing software, spreadsheets, and endless WhatsApp chats.

Yet that's exactly what we experienced.

Every tool solved one problem, but together they created another: constant context switching.

So we started building Undesk.

Instead of adding another application to the stack, our goal is to create one flexible workspace where businesses can manage:

• Team collaboration

The biggest lesson we've learned is that software shouldn't force businesses into predefined workflows.

Businesses already have workflows.

Software should adapt to them.

The focus has been simplicity, speed, and flexibility rather than feature overload.
