micro1 is hiring a Software Engineer for its Platform Engineering team. The role focuses on building and scaling full-stack applications, backend services, internal tools, and AI-driven infrastructure.

Advertised base salary: $120,000–$160,000 USD per year

Additional compensation: Equity and potential performance-based bonuses.

Key responsibilities:

• Build full-stack applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and database solutions.
• Own features from architecture through production.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and developer experience.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and design teams.
• Use AI coding tools as part of the development workflow.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js skills.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Experience building and scaling products, preferably in a startup environment.

Experience with NestJS, CI/CD, DevOps, and AI-powered products is a plus.
