I am excited to share a project I have been developing: an edgeless, decoupled WordPress architecture built specifically for modern newsrooms.

By utilizing WordPress with SQLite and a decoupled Next.js frontend and backend, I have rebuilt the platform to eliminate traditional backend limitations while preserving all core functionality.

Key features of this custom build include:

• Media & Content Optimization: Automated HLS video conversion with AI-generated chapters and captions, choice of AI voice transcriptions for articles, automated photo optimization, and cryptographic digital watermarking.
• Advanced Analytics & Data: Full integration with ClickHouse via Apache Lighthouse, a vector database for internal LLM use, built-in newsletter management, and telemetry.
• Infrastructure & Security: Unlimited horizontal scaling with a usage-based pricing model, edgeless SSO, an MCP server, and real-time machine learning-driven edge network hardening.
• Multi-Platform Distribution: Automated generation of React-based PWAs and native iOS/Android apps, alongside integrations with Apple News, Google News, video RSS, and automated YouTube syndication.
• Monetization & Engagement: Built-in A/B testing for articles and tools to create a programmatic ad network for independent monetization control.
