We make small browser tools for everyday business paperwork, and this month we added six more. Disclosure: this is our own collection, so judge it on what each page says.
The shared idea is that your files stay on your computer. Each tool runs in the page, with no upload step and no account. Each page states its free limit up front.
Compress and convert files
- Image Compressor shrinks JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF files, resizes them or switches format, then gives you each file or one ZIP.
- Video Compressor shrinks, trims and converts MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV. No watermark. The free version handles up to 5 minutes of video and 500 MB per run.
- OCR reads text from photos, screenshots and scanned PDFs, and can give you a searchable PDF. The free page reads up to 5 pages per run.
Clean up data
- CSV and Excel Toolkit converts, cleans, removes duplicates, splits and merges CSV, Excel and JSON files. The free page handles up to 1,000 data rows per file.
Bookkeeping
- Statement Merger merges monthly bank or card CSVs, drops rows repeated by overlapping statements, sorts transactions into categories you can edit, and exports one Excel file. The free page exports the first 40 rows.
- Bank Reconciliation Matcher matches your bank file against your books. The free page reads the first 150 rows of each file.
Where a tool has a row or page cap, there is an offline pack without it, as a one-time purchase. The OCR pack is still in preparation.
Everything is listed by the job you need done at Xargaar Tools. Tools still in development are marked as not available.
If one of these almost fits your work, tell us what gets in the way.
