One price change, one new model, 165 funding records: TANDIU weekly data notes (Oct 26–Nov 1, 2026)

Each week we summarize what changed in the public data on TANDIU: LLM API list prices, AI funding rounds, GPU rental prices and, new this week, official MCP servers. Every number below comes from the site or its MCP server, as of November 2, 2026 (UTC+8).

1. LLM API list prices

We track 72 models now, up from 71 a week ago. One was added, and one existing model changed its official list price.

Where the range sits today:

• Lowest: Hunyuan A13B at $0.075 / $0.30
• Lowest from a US vendor: Claude Haiku 5.5 and GPT-6 Luna at $0.10 / $0.50
• Highest: GPT-5.5 Pro and GPT-5.4 Pro at $30 / $180

One date to note: Gemini 4 Argon is listed at an introductory $2 / $10 until November 30, then $4 / $20.

2. Price index

The TANDIU LLM price index (all tracked models, July 13, 2026 = 100) went from 105.61 on October 26 to 106.63 on November 1. That is +1.72% over 30 days. The whole move came on October 29, the day of the Mistral change. The median blended price (3 parts input to 1 part output) is $2.03 per 1M tokens.

By market:

The index is a chain-linked geometric mean of price changes for models listed on consecutive days. Adding or retiring a model doesn't move it.

3. AI funding

The funding tracker has 165 records dated October 26 to November 1: 69 in the US, 51 in China and 45 elsewhere. Each record links its sources. The largest announced equity rounds:

Reported but not announced: Baseten is said to be raising about $2B at a $30B valuation, and Physical Intelligence to be in talks for about $1B at about $20B.

4. GPU cloud rental

These are price ranges from public vast.ai listings, in USD per GPU-hour, with the change in the median versus 7 days earlier.

Data-center GPUs have few listings, so a single listing can move the range. Read the H200 and B200 figures with that in mind.

5. Official MCP servers

New this week: the official MCP page lists 43 official MCP servers from vendors in the US, China and elsewhere, with auth method, where each is listed, and a daily handshake test across the border.

• US: 21 hosted endpoints were probed, and 19 are reachable from mainland China. None of the 19 changed this week.
• China: 9 of 10 hosted endpoints are reachable from the US. FinChina's MCP changed status 4 times this week and is blocked today.
• Auth among US hosted endpoints: 16 use OAuth, 4 need no auth, 2 use an API key. Among Chinese ones, 9 use an API key and 1 uses OAuth.

Expedia's hosted endpoint does not accept datacenter IPs, so it is not included in the handshake test.

Changes are published as JSON and RSS.
