MockVora: Real-Time AI Voice Mock Interview Coach for Engineers & Job Seekers

This is a submission for the MLH x DEV Writing Challenge

What I Built

I built MockVora—an end-to-end, real-time AI Voice Mock Interview coach designed for engineers, students, and job seekers.

Most candidates prepare for technical and HR interviews by reading guides on GeeksforGeeks or solving LeetCode problems. But in actual interviews, they hesitate and freeze when asked to explain their logic verbally under pressure.

MockVora bridges this gap by conducting conversational voice simulations:

• An AI interviewer speaks adaptive, role-specific questions out loud.
• The candidate speaks their answers verbally via microphone.
• The system evaluates responses in real-time, providing immediate scorecards covering technical accuracy, speech cadence (words per minute), and answer structure (STAR method).
