I work on OnePassApps, the team behind app.onepassapps.com, so this is about an app we ship. Every number below comes from a run I did in the live tab today, not from a feature list.

Our PDF Organiser is one of the browser-local apps: the pages are rearranged inside the tab and the finished file lands on your own machine. The page's own opening line is:

Merge, extract, reorder and rotate PDF pages on this device. Your original files stay unchanged.

It is a three-stage tool: 01 Source, 02 Selection, 03 Export.

01 Source

The empty stage reads "No PDFs yet. Drop them on the stage, or add them here." next to an "Add PDFs" button, and it prints its limits before you have chosen anything:

Up to 20 PDFs, 25 MiB each, 50 MiB combined and 300 pages. Encrypted PDFs are not supported.

02 Selection

Every page arrives selected, so you drop what you do not want rather than hunting for what you do. I loaded two one-page PDFs and the panel read "2 of 20 PDFs", with each file listed as "A Β· 1 page Β· 583 B" and "B Β· 1 page Β· 583 B", the page budget as "25 MiB each Β· 2 of 300 pages", and the summary row as "Selected" over "2 of 2 pages" with "Rotated" reading "None".

One thing worth knowing before you press anything: "Rotate right" rotates the selection, not a single page. With both pages selected, pressing it once changed the Rotated row to "2 of 2 pages" and marked both page tiles "p1 Β· 90Β°".

03 Export

The export stage lists the page order (A file A 1, then B file B 1), the paper size as "All 71 Γ— 106 mm", the combined output as "organised.pdf Β· up to 64 MiB" and the split option as "up to 50 pages Β· 50 MiB". Its summary line is "Download one combined PDF, or a ZIP with one PDF for each selected page." It also tells you what an export will not carry over:

Page content is preserved. Bookmarks, forms and digital signatures may not carry over to a new export.

The file that came out

I pressed "Download PDF" and the app confirmed "Downloaded a PDF containing 2 pages in the shown order." The file on disk was 849 bytes. Read back with pdfinfo, outside the browser: 2 pages, page size 300 x 200 pts, page rot: 90, producer pdf-lib, not encrypted, no form fields, PDF version 1.7. pdftotext pulled the two page strings back out in order - Page one, then Page two - so the content survived the rewrite and the rotation is in the exported file, not just in the interface.

Nothing left the tab

I watched the network while the export ran. No request carried a body: one run issued two GETs and another issued none at all. The PDF bytes never appeared in a request. The panel prints "Nothing leaves this tab." under the stage heading, and the wire trace agrees with it.

Two honest limits

The Export panel lists a split ZIP - "up to 50 pages Β· 50 MiB" - but the only export control I could find was Download PDF, so I did not produce a ZIP and I am not claiming one. And this is page organisation: it copies existing PDF pages, it does not OCR them, compress them or redact them.

Cost

Standard is free right now: $0 / month, 100,000 credits every 30 days, no card required and no automatic paid subscription. Existing paid subscriptions keep their terms. The step-by-step version of all of the above, with the same import caps, is on the PDF Organiser guide.

I work on OnePassApps. The tool is ours, which is why the numbers above came out of a tab rather than off a marketing page.
