Mastering Web Performance & Technical SEO: From Zero Crawls to 30K Search Impressions

Web applications built with modern JavaScript frameworks often face a critical hurdle: search engine crawlers struggling to render and index dynamic content. When launching our suite of calculation utilities at HesapKitap (https://hesapkitap.com), we initially experienced zero clicks and zero search engine impressions.

Through systematic technical optimizations, pre-rendering pipelines, structured data, and internal link architecture, we scaled our organic search footprint to over 30,000 search impressions. Here is the exact engineering blueprint we followed.

1. Unblocking Restrictive Crawler Headers

During initial deployment on Vercel, hidden response headers served X-Robots-Tag: noindex on static assets, quietly preventing Googlebot from crawling the application pages.

We audited vercel.json and stripped all restrictive headers to ensure 100% crawlability. Next, we built an SSR pre-rendering pipeline with Vite + Node.js to pre-render static HTML for all 42 route endpoints, achieving 0ms TTFB on edge nodes.

2. Automated Testing & Structured Schema Markup

To guarantee mathematical precision across all financial calculation tools, we created 57 unit test assertions covering 36 modules. We also implemented JSON-LD structured data (WebApplication, FAQPage, HowTo schemas) and generated a complete XML sitemap covering all 41 canonical URLs.

Check out the live calculation suite and pre-rendered platform at https://hesapkitap.com.
