Over the past few years, I've spent a lot of time thinking about how to use technology more effectively.
Ironically, the more technology advances, the more I find myself asking a different question:
Are we using technology intentionally, or is technology using us?
I recently read Digital Minimalism by Vitalik Buterin, and it resonated with something I've been noticing in my own life.

We're living in an era where every app is competing for our attention.
Notifications. Infinite feeds. Constant updates. Endless content.
And somewhere along the way, being "connected" became confused with being "productive."
What struck me most is that digital minimalism isn't about rejecting technology.
It's about being intentional with it.
Using technology as a tool.
Not allowing it to become the default destination for every free minute of our day.
As someone working in tech and AI, I find this particularly relevant.
Because we're building increasingly powerful systems designed to capture attention, automate decisions, and make information more accessible than ever before.
But more information doesn't automatically create more clarity.
More tools don't automatically create more value.
Sometimes the real advantage comes from deciding:
✅ What to ignore
✅ What to focus on
✅ What deserves your attention
✅ What doesn't
I've started realizing that productivity isn't about consuming more.
It's about creating more.
Not reading every article.
Not joining every conversation.
Not chasing every trend.
But spending more time on the things that actually matter.
Whether that's building, learning, writing, leading, or simply thinking.
In a world obsessed with doing more, digital minimalism feels surprisingly radical.
And maybe that's exactly why it's becoming so important.
My biggest takeaway:
Attention is becoming one of the most valuable assets of the AI era.
How we protect it may determine the quality of our work, our learning, and even our lives.
💭 I'm curious:
What's one digital habit you've changed that had a meaningful impact on your focus or productivity?
