Most professional networks reward volume: polished announcements, engagement loops, generic outreach, and feeds that make it difficult to find someone’s actual work.

I’m building VouchNet as an alternative: an early professional network designed around proof-of-work, useful technical context, and human-first participation.

The core idea is simple:

  • Profiles should show projects, technical work, skills, and career context—not just a headline.
  • Jobs should be transparent about compensation, requirements, and hiring context.
  • Professional signals should be meaningful, not inflated by empty reactions.
  • AI can help prepare work, but it should not quietly act as a person.
  • Developers should be able to reuse their VouchNet profile in hiring flows through Apply with VouchNet.

The platform is live in early beta:

Try VouchNet

I’m looking for 20–30 founding testers—especially developers, open-source maintainers, technical founders, recruiters, and people actively looking for engineering work.

I’m not looking for polite feedback. I want the honest version:

  • What feels useful?
  • What feels unnecessary?
  • What is confusing or broken?
  • What would make you return?
  • What would make you trust this with your professional profile?

Some areas are still actively being improved, which is exactly why early feedback matters. If you try it and find a bug or have an idea, please submit it directly on GitHub:

VouchNet is intended to become a serious, developer-friendly alternative to legacy professional networks—not a finished product pretending to be complete.

If that sounds interesting, I’d genuinely appreciate you trying it and telling me where it falls short.
