Have you ever copied a Wi-Fi password, a code snippet, or meeting notes from your laptop to your phone?
I used to email myself. Sometimes I sent messages to myself on WhatsApp. It worked, but it always felt slower than it should.
So I built a simple solution.
ShareTextQR homepage showing the Generate QR Code button and key features

The Problem
Moving text between devices is surprisingly annoying.
Some common scenarios:
Sharing a Wi-Fi password
Sending code snippets
Copying terminal commands
Sharing meeting notes
Classroom notes
Event instructions
Temporary passwords
Most people use messaging apps or email.
It works...
But it's slower than it should be.

The Idea
Instead of sending text...
Why not convert it into a QR code?
Device A

Paste text

Generate QR

Device B scans

Done.
That's it.

What I Learned While Building It
A good product doesn't always solve a huge problem.
Sometimes it removes a tiny daily frustration.
Those are often the products people end up using every day.

What's Next?
I'm planning to add:
Editable QR codes
Analytics
Custom QR designs
Password-protected text
Expiring QR codes
Team sharing
I'd love to hear what features you'd actually use.
