We built Ranked Agents, a free tier list of AI agents and automation tools. It covers 40+ tools across AI coding agents, browser agents, agent frameworks, voice agents and no-code automation platforms.

How the ranking works

Every tool lands in one of three tiers:

  • S tier: the ones we would reach for first in their category.
  • A tier: strong options with a few trade-offs.
  • B tier: useful in specific cases, but not our default pick.

A tier on its own doesn't tell you much, so we also wrote head-to-head comparison pages for the matchups people actually ask about, like Cursor vs Claude Code or n8n vs Make. You can browse them at ranked-agents.vercel.app/compare.

Other things on the site

  • A new-releases feed, so you can see which agent tools shipped recently without digging through changelogs.
  • Free embeddable tier badges for tool makers. If your tool is listed, you can drop its badge into your README or landing page.

There's no account, no paywall and no sign-up. It's just a site you can browse.

Where we need help

Tier lists are opinionated by nature, and we know some of our calls are going to be wrong. Which tools do you think are mis-ranked? Is something in B that belongs in S, or the other way around? Is there a tool we missed entirely? Tell us in the comments. We read them and update the rankings.

Thanks for taking a look.
