I built a $29 tool to stop losing decisions in meeting transcripts

I lost a good idea in a meeting transcript once. Not because it wasn't said. Because I never opened the transcript again.
We take notes. We record. We even get the transcript emailed to us. Then the next meeting starts, and the last one is gone. When someone asks, "What did we decide?" we scroll, we search, we guess.
So I built MeetScribe: a small tool that lives on your own computer and turns a pile of transcripts into a searchable library of decisions and action items.
What it does
MeetScribe organizes transcripts from Fathom, Otter, Zoom, Meet, and Teams in one place, and pulls out the action items and decisions, with owners and due dates.
No uploads. No account. No $20 seat.
How it works
- Drop in a transcript file. MeetScribe reads it, cleans it, and indexes it.
- Search every transcript at once. Find the meeting where the decision was made, even if you don't remember which meeting it was.
- See the action items. Each one has an owner and a due date, pulled from what was actually said.
- Tag the meetings that matter. Keep the important ones easy to find.
What changed for me
I no longer open a transcript file and hope. I search. I find the decision. I move on.
The tool is $29, one time. If you take a lot of meetings and you want to actually use what was said in them, you can get it here: https://solopreneur87.gumroad.com/l/mrysy
How do you keep track of decisions from meetings? Do you have a system, or do you just hope you remember?
