What actually fixed it:
A PWA nav script injecting layout shift after paint
AdSense ads pushing content around (fixed by reserving space)
Images missing width/height causing reflow
A canonical URL mismatch hurting indexing
CLS: 0.18 → 0.00 · LCP: 2.9s → 1.4s
