A few things we noticed in the first days:
- Longer timelines attract more builders. Many people prefer a hackathon that fits around classes and jobs.
- Solo builders are interested. Allowing teams of 1 to 4 makes it easier for people to join without a ready team.
- Communities matter. Most of our reach came from developer and student communities sharing the event with their own members.
