From Non-Tech to Tech: What I Learned Along the Way

A reminder for anyone trying to break into tech:

You don't need a tech degree to build a career in tech.

You need curiosity, consistency, and the willingness to keep learning.

My journey didn't start with knowing JavaScript, Shopify, or web development.

It started with a simple question:

"How do websites actually work?"

That question led me to HTML.

Then CSS.

Then JavaScript.

Then Shopify development.

The journey wasn't easy.

I spent countless hours debugging issues that turned out to be a missing semicolon or a typo.

I often felt like everyone else understood things faster than I did.

But I kept showing up.

Over time, those confusing concepts started making sense, and small wins turned into real projects.

Looking back, I realized something important:

The biggest obstacle wasn't learning to codeβ€”it was believing I could.

If you're coming from a non-tech background, don't let that stop you.

Everyone starts somewhere.

Keep building.

Keep learning.

Keep asking questions.

One day, you'll look back and realize how far you've come.

If you transitioned into tech from a different background, what was the biggest lesson you learned? I'd love to hear your story. πŸ‘‡
