Day 29 of Building Crowdwide β€” Brand Ambassador, UI Fixes & 80 Posts!! πŸŽ‰

I was building a social media platform with a special algorithm that gives new voices or communities a better chance of being discovered.

And... it's Crowdwide!

Today is Day 29 of giving updates on its v1 version, and its v2 version is going to release on 1 November 2026. Not too far...

The biggest thing... I got a brand ambassadorrrrrrrr... πŸŽ‰

FINALLY!!

I got a brand ambassador! Her name is Divyanshi ---> @technogamerz

I have updated that on the main site of Crowdwide too!

The bug buster of Crowdwide, @effessdev has reported 2 more things.

1. Even logged-in users were getting the option to "Join Crowdwide" and "Sign In"

On the main page, even logged-in users were seeing the options to "Join Crowdwide" and "Sign In" until they opened the navbar and saw the option "Open App".

So, to solve this, I just added one thing: now every user who is logged in will be redirected directly to /dashboard.

And to visit the landing page even after logging in, you can visit /?landing=1.

Okay... I remember one more thing...

A few days back, some of my users suggested that they had to log in again and again whenever they opened Crowdwide.

I was thinking... everything was already getting stored as cache... so why was this happening?

I found nothing, so I didn't make any changes about it...

But then I rememberedβ€”maybe they just didn't see the "Open App" option and directly clicked on "Join Crowdwide" or "Sign In" again. πŸ’€

UI mattersss, my brothaaa... UI matterssssssss 😭πŸ”₯

2. EffessDev reported a navbar UI issue

EffessDev reported that the navbar on the landing page was too close to the corner, almost touching it, which wasn't looking good.

Actually, I was ignoring these small issues because I never thought someone would notice them.

But... EffessDev's eagle eyes were finding bugs... and he got it!! πŸ‘€

These are solved now!!

And I forgot to tell you that in my last update, I also improved notifications!

Now they have categories like:

  • Today
  • Yesterday
  • All
  • Unread

And "Mark as Read" doesn't reload the page anymore! πŸš€

And currently, Crowdwide has this much progress:

21 members

80 posts shared

4 communities

Finally completed 80 posts!! πŸŽ‰πŸ”₯
