Building TuVozNow: Connecting Latino Communities Through Content and Communication

Hi DEV Community! I’m Melvin Montoya, a Honduran-born entrepreneur and founder of TuVozNow.

We started TuVozNow in 2020 with a goal: give Latino communities a culturally relevant place to connect, express themselves and build opportunities across borders.

Today, TuVozNow is available on the web, iOS and Android. It brings together:

Videos, blogs and livestreaming

Messaging, voice calls and video calls

Creator monetization tools

Browser-based meetings through TuVozNow Meet

Our biggest product question is how to make those features feel like one useful experience. Someone might discover a blog or video, join a conversation and then stay connected with the people they meet.

As a founder, I’m here to share our journey and learn from developers and community builders.

When building a platform with several features, how do you keep onboarding simple and help new members find value quickly?
