Building Asellera: An AI Operations Layer for Dental Clinics

Most dental clinics don’t struggle with demand — they struggle with execution.

Patients call, message, and request appointments every day, but a surprising amount of that demand never turns into booked treatment. Not because clinics aren’t busy, but because their systems are fragmented, manual, and dependent on overwhelmed front-desk teams.

That’s what led me to build Asellera.

The Problem

In a typical dental clinic:

  • Missed calls don’t get followed up quickly
  • Appointment requests are handled manually
  • Patient reminders and follow-ups are inconsistent
  • Insurance verification and intake consume staff time
  • Revenue is lost in small operational gaps, not big failures

Individually, these seem minor. Together, they create significant revenue leakage and staff burnout.

The Insight

The core issue isn’t a lack of software, clinics already use PMS systems, scheduling tools, and communication platforms.

The problem is that these systems don’t work together as an execution layer.

So instead of replacing existing tools, Asellera is designed to sit on top of them.

What We’re Building

Asellera is an AI-powered operations layer for dental clinics that automates workflows across the patient journey:

  • Patient intake and communication
  • Appointment scheduling and rebooking
  • Missed-call recovery
  • Automated reminders and follow-ups
  • Insurance verification workflows
  • Front-desk administrative automation

The goal is simple:

Turn patient demand into booked appointments, automatically.

Why This Matters

In healthcare, small delays create big losses. A missed follow-up or delayed response often means a lost patient.

By automating the operational layer, clinics can:

  • Increase booking conversion
  • Reduce administrative workload
  • Improve patient experience
  • Recover otherwise lost revenue

Where We’re At

We’re currently working with early pilots and iterating directly with clinic feedback. The focus is simple: build something that fits into real workflows without forcing clinics to change everything they already use.

Final Thought

Healthcare doesn’t need more dashboards.

It needs systems that execute.

That’s what we’re building with Asellera.
