I recently launched Axofy Sites — a marketplace for premium website templates (https://axofy.shop/sites). Here's the stack and a few things I learned.

Stack

  • Frontend: single-file HTML/CSS/JS storefront with live iframe previews
  • Hosting: Vercel (static + serverless functions)
  • Payments: Razorpay (UPI-first for India), inline checkout reusing the same webhook as our main product
  • Auth: Google One Tap + server-verified sessions (32-byte KV tokens, 30-day TTL)
  • Delivery: signed, expiring download URLs generated after payment verification

Things that bit me

  1. Vercel Hobby caps serverless functions at 12 per deployment — I had 15 and the whole deploy failed. Merged three pairs of endpoints to get under the cap. Count your api/ files before adding routes.
  2. Adding a vercel.json silently disabled the dashboard's Clean URLs setting and 404'd routes until I added "cleanUrls": true explicitly.
  3. Google One Tap + a custom session layer took real care to get right — verify the credential server-side, never trust the client.

The product

Free and premium templates (₹150–₹1,599), pay once, download instantly, no subscription. Built for the Indian market where $50 ThemeForest licenses don't make sense for most freelancers.

Happy to answer questions about the Razorpay webhook flow or the session design.
