Hacktoberfest 2026 is here, and I'm kicking off the launch weekend by building a multi-tenant AI email agent.

The idea is simple:

What if every organization could have its own AI email agent while keeping its data, configuration, and agent actions completely isolated?

What I'm planning to build

The MVP will explore:

🏢 Multi-tenant architecture
📧 Email ingestion and thread processing
🤖 AI-powered email classification
📝 Email summarization and reply drafting
🔧 Agent tools for actions such as ticket creation and escalation
👤 Human approval before sending emails
🔐 Strict tenant-level data isolation
📋 Agent action/audit logs

The interesting engineering challenge isn't just adding an LLM.

It's making the agent reliable and safe in a multi-tenant environment.

Every piece of state and every tool invocation should be scoped to the correct tenant:

Audit Log

No tenant should ever be able to access another tenant's data.

I'll keep the weekend build focused on a working MVP rather than trying to build a full production email platform.

More details and the implementation will follow as I build it.
