Building a Cyberpunk Password Analyzer & Generator with Real-Time Crack Speed Estimations
Hey everyone! š I recently built a client-side Cybersecurity Suite that combines password strength evaluation with real-time brute-force crack time estimations, alongside a seed-based secure password generator.
Hey everyone! š
I recently built a client-side Cybersecurity Suite that combines password strength evaluation with real-time brute-force crack time estimations, alongside a seed-based secure password generator.
š”ļø Why I Built This
Most password checkers just give a basic "Weak" or "Strong" label. I wanted to build an interactive tool that actually breaks down how long it would take to crack a password across different hardware architectures:
- Standard CPU (Single Thread)
- High-end GPU Rigs (e.g., RTX 4090)
- Quantum Computing Estimations
⨠Key Features
- Visual Progress Meters: Real-time scoring algorithms.
- Hardware Breakdown: Interactive time-to-crack estimates.
- 16-Character Generator: Seed-based password creation containing special characters, numbers, and casing.
- Cyberpunk UI: Custom animations including rain and floating particles.
š ļø Tech Stack
Pure Vanilla JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 (using Keyframes and Glassmorphism techniques).

I'd love to hear your feedback, thoughts on the math calculations, or suggestions for improvement!
